Dr. Nadine Gaab compiled this list of common myths related to dyslexia identification and intervention. She provides links to research evidence to debunk each myth.
Dyslexia Screeners
Dr. Nadine Gaab’s group compiled a list of all available screeners for dyslexia and early literacy into document. You can find different tabs for pre-readers and early reading, which screeners are validated or peer-reviewed, and resources on how to screen. Another chart from the National Center on Intensive Intervention provides ratings on the technical rigor of the tools, including classification accuracy, technical standards, and usability features.
